Getting Started

Setting up DailyQuotes is simple. Follow these steps to ensure smooth delivery of your daily inspiration.

1. Invite the Bot

First, invite DailyQuotes to your server.

2. Important: Enable Webhooks

To make your quotes look amazing with custom backgrounds and fonts, the bot needs to use Webhooks.

Action Required: Manage Webhooks

The bot MUST have the Manage Webhooks permission in the channel you want to use.

Why? Without this, the bot cannot send the high-quality "Picture Style" quotes and will default to basic text.

How to fix permissions: 1. Right-click your quote channel -> Edit Channel. 2. Go to Permissions. 3. Add DailyQuotes (or its role). 4. Check ✅ Manage Webhooks.

3. Configure Your Server

Once invited, run the configuration command to tell the bot where and when to post.

  • Command: /config
  • What to set:
    • Channel: The channel you prepared above.
    • Time: The UTC time you want the quote to drop.
    • Style: Choose Picture for the best experience!

4. Verify Setup

Run this command to send a test quote immediately. If you see a beautiful image, you're all set!
