Getting Started¶
Setting up DailyQuotes takes just a few minutes using our interactive setup wizard.
🚀 Interactive Setup Wizard¶
Run /setup to launch the step-by-step configuration wizard.
Step 1: Channel Selection¶
Select a text or news channel for daily quote delivery.
Permission Check
The bot automatically verifies it has Send Messages and Manage Webhooks permissions.
Step 2: Role Configuration¶
Choose a role to ping when new quotes are posted. You can skip this step if you don't want pings.
Step 3: Quote Category¶
Select your server's default quote theme:

Setup Complete!
After completing the wizard, quotes will be delivered daily at 6:00 AM EST (free servers) or at your custom time (🌟 Premium).

Premium Feature
Picture quote customization requires an active Premium subscription.
Run /setup_picture to customize how your daily picture quotes look.
Configuration Options¶
Choose from 8 stunning backgrounds:
- Ocean, Mountains, City, Space
- Autumn, Desert, Snow, Rainbow
Customize text appearance:
- Fill Color — Main text color
- Outline Color — Text stroke color
- Choose from 140+ named colors!
Select from 24 hand-picked fonts:
- Agbalumo, AlexBrush, AmaticSC, Amita
- Bangers, BebasNeue, CabinSketch, DancingScript
- GloriaHallelujah, GoodDog, GrandHotel, HennyPenny
- Kurale, LobsterTwo, Nasalization, Niconne
- Nosifer, OpenSans, RichEatin, Roboto
- RubikMoonrocks, Rye, TrainOne, VujahdayScript
Toggle the background contrast overlay for better text readability.
⚙️ View Current Settings¶
Run /config to see your server's current configuration:
- Quote channel
- Ping role
- Quote category
- Language
- Delivery time (🌟 Premium)
🔄 Reset Settings¶
Run /reset_settings to reset specific options or everything at once.

Confirmation Required
Resetting everything requires double confirmation to prevent accidents.

For the best experience, grant DailyQuotes these permissions:

Pro Tip
Without Manage Webhooks, the bot falls back to basic embed-style quotes.
